	INTRODUCTION

	Invariably when tracing your English and/or Welsh family history you will encounter ancestors who migrated to America, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and other parts of the globe. The purpose of this International section is to cover English and Welsh family history from a world wide perspective. It currently includes information on:
	single surname web sites which are invariably international in scope and draw together world wide descendants of ancestors sharing the same surname family history societies in Australia family history societies in New Zealand family history societies in South Africa genealogical societies in the United States

	The aim in the future is to extend this International section to encompass:
	family history societies in Canada archive repositories and web sites focusing on worldwide migration of English and Welsh ancestors

	A useful source of worldwide genealogical site links is the comprehensive and wide ranging Cyndi's List. It contains over 250,000 links arranged in 180 plus categories.
