Well
written practical guide for anyone tracing their ancestors who served in
the British Army. The book covers a broad scope which extends beyond the
more usual attestation papers, pension and service records. There are numerous
leads to archives, internet content and other publications. My only criticism
is the lack of colour illustrations but this is a minor quibble given how
fully the book is packed with practical advice. |
